Timothy
D. Naegele—who served as
counsel to the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing,
and Urban Affairs, and as chief of staff to a U.S. Senator—established
the firm in 1977, and offers more than 30 years of experience, meeting
the broad needs of corporate and individual clients. He has
advised the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the States
of California and Maine, having recodified Maine's banking laws.
Also, he authored the Anti-Tying Provision of the Bank Holding Company
Act Amendments of 1970 (see our Published
Articles on the subject), and other important pieces
of legislation.
The attorneys
of Timothy D. Naegele & Associates have been
responsible for more than $2 billion of financial institutions mergers
and acquisitions, in six states, and have handled a myriad of legal
matters at both the federal and state levels. The firm has
extensive experience in litigation and the recovery of monies from
federal agencies, having recovered approximately $10 million for
our clients in recent years.
- We have represented upwards of 200 banks, financial institutions
and other entities, including the Prudential Insurance Company
of America, which have regulatory and other needs. We also
serve individuals who have similar requirements for our services.
- Referrals come from lawyers and law firms that do not have our
expertise in banking law and other matters, but which have clients
that need our help. Because Timothy D. Naegele &
Associates is a small, niche law firm, we often act
as co-counsel where the other firm involved does not want to worry
that a large firm will try to steal its client.
- We represent those who want to sue governmental entities, principally
agencies of the Federal Government in federal courts, as well
as those who have to defend against actions brought by such entities
or others. We provide cost-effective legal representation,
with emphasis on the achievement of goals and the resolution of
disputes.
